Concordia College offers the following programmes: MYP.
As members of the Concordia community, students and their parents experience the tangible support and encouragement of a caring, Christian environment that promotes inclusion, respect and the uniqueness of individuals. Concordia’s commitment to developing a caring global community begins with our offering the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IBMYP) to our Years 7-10 students.

MIDDLE YEARS PROGRAMME (MYP)

Concordia utilises the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme in Years 8-10 because of its holistic approach to educating the person, its emphasis on developing independent learning skills, and its international standing. Nine Areas of Learning are balanced with five Areas of Interaction to give students both breadth and depth in their learning experiences. The College provides a solid network for students needing learning support as well as extension activities for gifted students.

What is the IB?

The International Baccalaureate (IB) aims to develop inquiring, and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. The IB offers high quality programmes of international education to a worldwide community of schools.

The three IB programmes for students aged 3 to 19 help develop the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalizing world. There are more than 599,000 IB students at 2,226 schools in 125 countries.
