The Kilmore International School offers the following programmes: Diploma.
The Kilmore International School is an independent, non-denominational, co-educational boarding and day school for students undertaking their secondary education (Years 7-12 inclusive). The School is totally committed to the International Baccalaureate (I.B.), an alternative university preparation program, with all students in years 11 & 12 undertaking the program. Years 7-9 are designed to challenge capable students and to provide special assistance in problem areas. Year 10 is designed as a bridging program to specifically prepare students for entry to the I.B. Diploma course in years 11 & 12. The Kilmore International School's focus is on academic achievement - for the past 11 years 100% of graduates have gained entrance to universities of their choice. Graduates are now studying at Oxford University (UK), The London School of Economics & Political Science (UK), Imperial College (UK), Yale University (USA), University of Toronto (Canada), The University of Melbourne (Aust), University of New South Wales (Aust) and The University of Sydney (Aust).

DIPLOMA PROGRAMME

Subjects offered in the I.B. program are as follows: Group 1: English, Chinese, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Thai. Group 2: English, Chinese, Indonesian, Japanese, German. Group 3: Economics, Geography. Group 4: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Systems. Group 5: Mathematics HL, Mathematical Methods, Mathematical Studies, Computer Studies. Group 6: Art, Music

What is the IB?

The International Baccalaureate (IB) aims to develop inquiring, and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. The IB offers high quality programmes of international education to a worldwide community of schools.

The three IB programmes for students aged 3 to 19 help develop the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalizing world. There are approximately one million IB students at over three thousand schools in more than 140 countries.
