The Junior School caters for Kindergarten to Year 6 students and is well known for its friendly and welcoming environment. We value and celebrate diversity and support and encourage girls to learn about other cultures and demonstrate as a community a commitment to making a difference. We are committed to developing students who view themselves as citizens of the world. The Junior School has adopted the Primary Years Program (PYP) of the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO) as a curriculum framework.
What is the IB?
The International Baccalaureate (IB) aims to develop inquiring, and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. The IB offers high quality programmes of international education to a worldwide community of schools.
The three IB programmes for students aged 3 to 19 help develop the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalizing world. There are approximately one million IB students at over three thousand schools in more than 140 countries.
