AAIBS has now been  officially recognised by the International Baccalaureate Organization as an Association of IB WorldSchools. It is the first Association in the Asia Pacific Region to have this recognition.

Standing Commitee met at Melbourne Airport on Friday August 14 to discuss this as well as other matters.  Sadly, Association Secretary Briony Morath has resigned from her school and AAIBS Standing Committee. Ross Featherston, Diploma Coordinator at Geelong Grammar School was elected to the position of Secretary at this meeting.
